Welcome to New England Counseling Center

Welcome to the New England Counseling Center, a psychiatry specialty clinic in Mansfield, MA. We offer comprehensive and coordinated health care for you and your family in a private and highly confidential setting.

We are located on the second floor at 792 South Main Street, very close to exit 11 on I-495 and provide evaluation, consultation and treatment using all procedures standard in psychiatric practice. Our clinic also offers therapy along with counseling provided mainly by therapists and medication management by Psychiatrists.

To Make an Appointment

The appointment number for the Psychiatry Clinic is 508-261-7111 (New appointments; if you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance, to avoid a late cancellation fee and so we can make that time available for another patient.)

Missed Appointments: Patients are charged $50.00 for missed appointments unless the appointment was cancelled 24 hours or more in advance. Insurance will not pay a missed appointment charge for you, so please make every effort to inform us 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment.

What to Bring for Your First Clinic Appointment

Arrive at the Center at least 20 mins before your scheduled time & please bring the following:

  • Picture identification
  • Insurance ID card
  • Required co-payment/deposit/deductible
  • Medications - Prescription bottles and over-the counter medications
  • Any paperwork from your previous psychiatrist or previous psychiatric hospital (such as discharge papers etc.)
  • All insurance/referral information.

 

 

NECC Billing Office

As a courtesy, we check insurance benefits and seek to obtain appropriate authorization. However, we cannot guarantee payment by your insurance company or the accuracy of the information they have given to us. You are encouraged to call your insurance company to ensure that your services are covered and that you have the appropriate referrals and authorizations. If you or your legal dependents receive services from your health insurance company, you will be held responsible for payment of all non-covered charges relating to them. It is important that you keep us updated on any changes to your insurance coverage.

Please be prepared to provide insurance information when you check into the clinic.


Co-pays, as dictated by your insurance plan and deposits for self-pays are due at the time service is provided. We accept major credit cards, cash, and money orders for these services.

Prescriptions & Refills

New prescriptions usually require an office visit. Your physician will give you an electronic or written prescription unless you prefer to have it called into your pharmacy. Please be advised, you will need to provide the name and phone number/fax number of the pharmacy. Please allow 48 hours (2 business days) for prescription refills. Please note, that we will only provide enough of your medication refill until your next scheduled appointment with your physician.

Friday:
                8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
              Saturday:
                8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Evening hours are only available as arranged by your psychiatrist or therapist.
